| The Susie Pendant |

| This is the"Susie Pendant" I designed it using a sister's cabochon (cameo). It is wrapped in sterling silver and though the cabochon is light blue and white it has crystals in emerald and rose. The emerald crystals are Susie's birthstone (May) while the rose crystal is my birthstone (October). The silver signifies the saying "There's a silver lining behind every cloud". When I see the sun creating a silver lining around clouds I'm reminded of Susie's courage and know that this is her way as well as her Mothers and my Daddy's way of saying hello to us all. This is my tribute to Susie, her family and the wonderful life they have so unselfishly granted me. I am truly Blessed. |
| I would like you to meet Susie. Susie was born May 3, 1959. She ran in the Special Olympics and was the light of her families life. She was taken from them on her birthday May 3, 2005. Susie gave me a better chance at life on May 5, 2005 with a kidney transplant. I have been Blessed with getting to know her father, my Donor Dad Ron. While I honor all 3 of my donors Susie & her family are the only ones I know. Thus the pendant below is to honor her courage,and her families unselfish love for a stranger |
